An ongoing study on attitudes to tourism among the Viennese population delivered a positive verdict once again in 2019. Manova conducted an online survey of 3,657 Viennese residents aged between 18 and 70 on behalf of the Vienna Tourist Board. The outcome: nine out of ten respondents had a positive view of tourism in the city. With some minor variances, these top values were also reported in prior years, and tally with the visitor satisfaction rates recorded in the Tourism Monitor Austria (T-Mona) survey which found that nine out of ten visitors would recommend Vienna as a destination.
What the city’s residents think about the different aspects of tourism in their city, and what they feel is positive or view critically is presented in the following infographics. Further details of the study can be found in this report.
