What makes visitors to Vienna tick?

The Vienna Tourist Board’s visitor survey generates extensive data on people who travel to Vienna. For the latest Vienna survey, conducted by Tourism Monitor Austria, around 2,700 visitors who were staying in Vienna for non-business reasons for at least part of their trip filled out an online questionnaire. The typical visitor to Vienna is 45.6 years old, employed, educated, travels by plane, and usually with one other person.
